Iowa State University: Program Assistant I Assists
in Library human resource functions for approximately 75 merit and 25 Professional and
Scientific (P&S) including: recruitment, personnel policies, hiring procedures,
electronic processes and procedures, evaluations, staff development, diversity, etc.
Coordinates the employment and evaluation process for approximately 150 student employees,
including graduate assistantships and internships. Resource person for clarification of
Library and University policies/procedures including the AFSCME contract. Liaison with
telecommunications; custodial/building maintenance; key, lock, and access card issues.
